@BuckFord Hey, Buck. Where's Vacaville?
Hope you all have a great holiday weekend. Next up--NFR! Can't wait to see who rises to the top this year.
I did get around to posting a few things on the blog. If you're into western history, check this out: www.montanaforreal.blogspot.com
No plans for Thanksgiving, just babysitting dogs while my sisters go to Hawaii and training my Paint roping pony. How about the rest of you?
Wow. I cannot believe it's only four weeks until Christmas. Where did the year go?
Gorgeous day here. Sunny, forties and no wind for the first time in over a week. Yesterday trucks were blown off the road north of us.
As for today, it's time to gather the roping calves and commence winter horse training exercises. If the couch will turn me loose.
Wow, has it been a week. Or two. Stop by the blog for shipping calves, writing tips, and why horses are just like bikes.
Amazing what a couple days of warm wind can do. Snow is gone, time to get to work chasing Wild Women.
@DesperateHorsewife Is there grass and water? Some parts of southeast Oregon are very barren
@Stephen_JanetBly I've got three projects in the works, one that should be ready to go to market before the first of the year.
@Stephen_JanetBly I envy you, Stephen. You're a step ahead of me, I'm waiting for revision notes from my agent.
I have a sinking feeling that winter might be here to stay. Guess I'd better dig out the long underwear.
Made it to work two mornings in a row without getting stuck in the snow, but it does require cutting across the hayfield.
@Stephen_JanetBly The whole process of saddlemaking fascinates me. I drive my brother in law nuts poking around his shop, I'm sure.

It's a little deep around here today. Someone seems to think October is winter.
@Stephen_JanetBly Yep, it's a snow day here, too. I'd guess we have over a foot, but at least it's not bitter cold.
@MustangBlueWy I haven't noticed it, but I've been mostly offline for the past four days.
@DesperateHorsewife That's the excuse I use for most everything, and I'm sticking with it.
